nothing a little burnout cant fix.
Very true. I was just pointing out that changing the overall diameter shouldn't be a big issue because it's easily corrected with a tune.

ABS is greatly affected by diameter change if you create a difference in diameter between the front and back wheels and the ECU isn't programmed for it. If you change both the front and back diameters while keeping the same ratio, you're right the ABS will not be affected.

ABS measures the difference between wheel rotation speed front to back and side to side to determine when to activate. However, some ABS systems are more sensitive to changes than others.

Except for that a G8 is absolutely nothing of the car I'm looking for? I don't want an over priced "semi-luxury" sedan.

Why not just lower the front/raise the rear/however you choose to get the forward the traditional way, with suspension bits, instead of using wheels/tires to get the stance?

I think even stock the front and rear tires are different sizes (width). You won't be able to rotate them anyway if I'm right on that.

Who do you think will come out with a replica of the concept wheel or the current wheel just bigger like 22' and 21'

Better than that, who's going to make the stock wheels wider? I'm going to widen my stock rears to 11", keep the fronts the same and run Nitto INVO's all around. With black powder coating that should run me about 2 grand.

the stance wont be "traditional rake" like the old muscle cars of the 60's-70's which some people (not myself) would consider that redneck. its to each their own with what they want to do with the car.

you are in the group that will be the major buyer of this car. that want it to last and not have to spend bookoo bucks every year for a new set of tires (looks in mirror...lol) which is completely fine. and btw, thanks. I know a lot of people here in the lowcountry are going to be getting the sixer and have asked me on ways to mod it. and thru our discussions, ive been able to help them out.

the thing with lowering the front/raising the rear is that it puts undue stress on the suspension in ways that it was not meant to take for extended periods of time. tho if they do what they did with the 4th gens, you could level the rear (as the rear was higher than the front from the factory). they had a 2-3" rubber bushing that the rear springs sat in/on to help dampen the road and quiet the travel of the spring. what most people did to level the car on the cheap was to pull the spacer out and run a 5/8" heater hose around the spring so it was still isolated for sound purposes but it lowered the rear and leveled the car.

i think on the 2SS it is staggered, but on the LS and LT models it is the same all around.
