Let me set the scene. I'm driving west on Sunset Blvd. to the gym. It's four lane. I'm in the slow lane doing 45 in a 35. SUVs in particular come jamming up behind, with no traffic obstructing their using the fast lane, ride my bumper for a while then slingshot around. It is penis envy pure and simple.
So get off the old fart who's too stupid, too slow, etc. comments.

Yeah they just ride my bumper when im trying to go over a speed bump. But my biggest beef is pick up trucks for some reason they are the ones trying to prove a point. Oh and I cant ever exclude LAME A$$ INFINITI G35,37 drivers....

I think this got said in another similar thread but, some people just want to see that Camaro GO. Some know they dont stand a chance, but they want to see that sleek SS in action and hear that roar. Hell, I used to drive a f'kin Ford Escort and use to try to get local 'stangs and porsche drivers to stomp on it. Not because I was jealous, but because I wanted to hear that engine light up see that thing zoom!

Its also comforting to see that the driver of that performance car isnt afraid of their own car.

If they are passing you in Land Rovers and Mercedes its not penis envy, your in a Camaro not a Bugatti.
