Drone is like a bass like hum that develops usually during a steady or constant RPM range. Kind of like having a bass speaker vibrating at a low decibel range and ringing your ears. I guess that is the best description I can come up with.

I know that "drone" is talked about everywhere all the time so it's obvious I should already know what drone is describing, that's why I was hesitant to ask so thanks for not being a smarta** about it

Have had my system installed over a year now. Nice rumble around town, and an awesome roar when you punch it

Have you noticed any negative sounds at highway speeds or otherwise?

Never heard of "Our deals Rock" until you posted. Best price I have seen. Can't seem to figure out where they are located from their website though.

i love it's dound

i'm thinking to change my MAGNAFLOW catback to FLOWMASTER because i'm not very hapy with my , it has deep sound and very heuge , some times i feel i'm driving truck , my be that's because it's fitted in l99 , and with ls3 it's mybe better ,

so when i sead to my freind that's i'm gonna change my to flowmaster catback he said to me it's bad idea because the sound for FLOWMASTER is much bigger than my exhaust and it's comes more loader day by day !!

any one have it on his l99 can tell me is that real ?

Flowmaster AMF's catback w/custom pipes

Fresh from my Chevy dealer....grabbed a new exhaust -- catback, reso-delete, and Flowmaster AMF 40's for under $650 installed. All welded, no clamped together tubes. Sweet. L99, and loving it. Changed over at 9K from stock.

Looked into Borla's but they were not only expensive, but they sound like real loud wet farts. To "slappy" for my taste, I like the old rumble of a kick ass V8. The addition of a cold air intake (w/ dry filter) with the exhaust made my day. What a difference. Looking into "tuning" out the AFM in the future....but in no hurry.

BTW -- I drove a 2004 Z06 Vette and traded it (YEP....) for one of these. Miss the Vette in some ways, but I am totally pleased with the L99 SS Camaro. All in all, I'd have a hard time getting back into the Corvette. At least now my Camaro sounds comparable to what I had!
