Long tubes with Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Just curious if anyone is running this setup? I am looking to buy some headers and exhaust and wanted to see what this one sounded like. I like the sound of the Flowmaster AT by itself but just wondered how deep it would get with the headers. I haven't purchased either of them yet but wanted options before I spent the money. I have sat at the computer for hours on youtube and there are so many choices and sounds available. Anyway, could you please post any video to help me out? Thanks

I have alot of videos with different setups with the flowmasters.. look under boltons section and the XP racing cam job thread. :-)

Sorry I don't have any data from Flowmaster stuff, last time I ran a flowmaster I watched a guy pull it off & swap to hooker on his LS1 car. He gained 8rwhp from just the muffler swap! That's was enough for me to not offer them...

well i had a cat delete and the flowmaster catback and put down 400rwhp and 398 rwtq.. not to mention it sounds like old muscle. :-)
Im not sure what Jason was adding to this thread but im pretty sure you didnt ask him for what he has on file, he just wanted to make you second guess this exhaust system. I am really enjoying my flowmaster catback Im not into the european sounds that you get from magnaflow or B&B.. that warble european sound to me isnt what I wanted my 6.2L to sound like so I went two chamber.

i have that set up! it sounds very nice and throaty! i have kooks 1 7/8 long tubes no catts, and flowmaster at! every open house i have gone to, people complement me sound!!!!

I will be putting on Stainless Steel Works 1 7/8 LT catted with my FLowmaster AT within a week(hopefully), I'll post a vid.
