I am highly impressed with Mary Conway's general knowledge of automobiles, I know some of these segments are canned and rehearsed but she seemed pretty fluid to me...

I hope they'll use TVS2300 and not the 1900. It would be a shame to spend over $50,000 without much room to grow with that blower. That's my only hangup. See how efficient the 2.9 Whipple runs? I'll settle with a 2.3 but not 1.9.

What if you spend less than 50,000 and use the savings to put whatever blower you want on it?

Honestly, I've looked at this logic many times, but I much prefer (trying to get away with the moding nightmare for the first time) having a factory fast car with warranty. Trust me, in the past 12 years I've thrown away a ton of money moding cars and dealing with it's consequences.

![]() I don't expect news stations to get everything right...but she got most things spot-on, and definitely did the story with enthusiasm, and that's what counts in my book. |

Did she say, "It will get a lot better gas mileage than the old ones when they were a lot more supercharged"?

Damn RIGHT it'll beat that P.O.S. mustang. The Z/28 is a beast and always has been, and there's no doubt in my mind that Ford's plastic crap toy will out do/sell the 2012 Camaro Z/28.
