Not good people, not good at all.

I don't see the humor in the post when it implies we will not be getting what was promised. I'm glad everyone else here doesn't seem to care though.
Maybe because they're still working on it? People have said that they've seen it working in show cars, Scott probably broke the guy's arm, but whatever. Do you want Number 3 to get fired for telling us things he's not supposed to? Remember when a dealer employee posted the order workbook?

His post didn't imply that at all. If anything, he was just reiterating the fact that he's not allowed talking about it.

No one wants anyone to get fired, so i apologize to Number 3 if he got that feeling. By the way your post was actually hilarious. sorry believe me i do care, but at this point we know that the doors are a go, just not the dash. Im sure GM will do all they can to make sure that they give out what was promised because if they didnt, it would hurt their sales and im sure they know that. I was really pissed when i heard about the door panels only, but im sure if they got that dialed in, they have a month to get the main dash dialed in. That should be enough time for them to get the job completed. Here is my faith in GM!
But i understand everyone else's anger with the issue, i ordered the IOM trim and after seeing the SS vid with it on, i cant have my car without it lol. Just too DAM beautiful.
P.S Just the doors would really look random

Is this confirmed? Hopefully GM understands this would be a horrible decision by saying "Hey, you got your ABL! Not what we had originally told you but here's what we half-assed!". Just the door panels would be awkward and it's not what was promised.

They either need to provide the full product or subtract the cost from the MSRP.

What would happen if 6 months after SORP they get ABL finalized (assuming it isn't ready by March)? Would they have everyone bring their car into the dealer to get it installed? Or would all the pre-orders filled before then just get screwed?

Absolutely no appology required. In my job, I get to see future program information (not just Camaro) that you guys would love to see. And I know you guys, as much as you would really like to know every detail, understand that I can't share it with you.

Think of it this way, as tax payers you are now part owner, so you wouldn't want me sharing product information for all of our competitors to see now would you. Then YOU would want me fired.

As part owner I would like to know what my company is building!

My opinion, if the doors lit up and not the dash. Say they have a potential buyer in the showroom. They look at the lit up door panel and the design flows into a non-lit dash and continues to flow into another lit section. It might bring up that old BS notion that American car companies quality sucks. They might think that if they couldn't get a "silly" light in the dash to work than what else might they haven't gotten working properly. I think if they don't get the dash to light up they should change the design of the dash so the door panels look separated.

ABL has been the touchiest subject on this forum considering it's the only question never given a straight response by anyone from the GM side. They'll be happy to talk about anything else but when ABL is brought up they shy away. I just don't think anyone with inside information should be joking about ABL, especially if it isn't fully made, dash and all.
