I think they are talking about section 9-17

-Should the vehicle be used
for racing or competitive
driving (after break‐in), the
rear axle lubricant must be
replaced before hand.



If you are done with the break-in and ready to race, I assume you will be changing this rear diff fluid. For me, it wont happen until 100,000 miles .

First 2200 miles.
After that 5 - 7k mile intervals with Mobil1.

also get an oil catch can or some of that dirty oil ends up in your intake

In the 2010 manual it's on page 8-17, on the right side of the page.

It says something to the effect that the rear diff fluid "MUST" be changed after break-in if you plan on engaging in racing or competitive driving. According to the manual, break-in is 1,500 miles.

As far as my first fluid changes?....I changed my oil @ just over 1,500 miles and my diff fluid @ just under 2,000 miles. I'll be changing my oil every 12 months or whenever the oil life indicator tells me to.....whichever occurs first.
