It is far far the worst new car paint I have ever seen. Looks ok but sensitive to everything that touches it. I disagree with the "new formulation" BS. Other car manufacturer fall under the same rules and even a base Honda Civic has a better quality paint job. I just bought a new Ford weeks ago and the paint quality on it is much much better. Go look at the paint on BMWs, Mercedez, VW, Lexus, Hyundai, Toyota, etc. etc. etc.

the odd thing is we bought a equinox and camaro the same day and the equinox paint is doing alot better than the camaro. I had a clear bra installed because i couldnt stand seeing a new chip every time i drove the car.

Your right my new 2011 Toyota has very nice paint. It seems thick and seems to be holding up well since my car keeps dodging flying debris on the freeway on a daily basis.

The dealer had to repaint the back of my car as the rear window blew out the first day I brought it home. The glass scratched the trunk lid and tops of the 1/4's quite bad. good thing is...at least the paint will be thicker on the back of my car. LOL
