"Black with Dark Argent Surround" is the grille unpainted. Argent is also the color of the gfx. It is a dark gray with metallic specks.

It's good that there are choices, everyone has their own preferences.

I hope I'm not thread jacking. I'm just looking to save you guys a few bucks.
Thanks for the shameless plug

I am a fanatic of the GEN 5 Camaro like most of you folks. I live and breath cool cars and I am installing a black heritage grille on my personal Camaro tomorrow

I think it's fun to personalize my car don't you?

Allen English

Choices are good!

Hey G.M., how about the Leno grill- or does the aftermarket already do that?

I started this thread as informational on the new factory painted heritage grill. Maybe someone needs to start a survey whether they like the stock grill better, because it's turning into a debate like so many other threads.

I'm signing off the forum for at least a month. Maybe after winter breaks and everyone gets back in their cars there will be last debating and more appreciation for what we have.

Isnt that the idea of a forum, to express opinion, debate, and help out others?.

From what I have found searching the web, the best price I have seen so far on the grills is at www.chevypartsplus.com. They are $320 painted to match and $244 unpainted. There are also a few vendors on the site here that have similar prices and do excellent paint work.

I am not trying to do a shameless plug for anyone; I just understand that parts for our cars are not cheap so saving a few bucks here and there is huge in the long run!
