Black rims on Silver car (or Grey) looks really good in my opinion. I would go with option #1.

I'm amazed at how rims like #2 are popular these days. When I was in high school (10+ years ago) machine turned rims with black painted sides were only found at Pep Boys and they were cheap...American Eagles I believe.

I would go with 2. I am also wonderin how that might effect rotating tires.
