i dont let anyone drive it. i offered to let my fiance drive it but she knows if anything happened... yea.... nobody but me..

I let a friend drive my brand new Chevy 1500 years ago that I had just picked up from the dealer. He hoped it and smoked the tires well, one tire for about 4 houses down. At first I was pissed, but also impressed it did a burn out that long. He is not allowed to drive my shit anymore. I did let another buddy take my Camaro when it was new to his house to pick up something. He was shocked that I actually tossed him the keys when he jockingly asked to use it. I knew I could trust him with it.

Iv let my mom drive my car when I first got it home. My mom has had some pretty fast cars in her day soooooo. She put me in the seat and then the dash. It was a fast 50feet. My wife can drive the car when she wants to. She doesn't ask more than twice a year. No no no no not my twin bro.

Nobody has driven mine except for my best friend, whom I let drive it the first weekend I had it. He treated it very well, hell, better than me at the time, since this is the 1st manual I've ever been able to drive regularly. He's been driving his 05 LS2 GTO since, well 05. So he's very well accustomed to some power in a manual. Heck - I had to let him, he let me borrow his Goat for my wedding day knowing I was shaky with a manual. Had to reciprocate.

Other than that - NOBODY has even asked... because most people I'm around that would want to, don't know how to drive a manual.

Heck - I wanted to hear the exhaust one day and had the wife get in and goose the gas a bit and she barely got past 1500 RPMs with this look of utter terror on her face...

. Said she was afraid to even rev it! Good Wifey!

It's not the same guy from my road trip. My road trip buddy is a car guy and he treated my SS like gold. The gear grinder just got married, it was actually during his reception. I was feelin generous at the moment. I did tell him not to redline it, but I did tell him to give it some juice. My bad, I'm just lucky nothing was damaged. Hard lesson learned...
