nice strut bar, not the easiest to install when you don't have the predrilled holes in there, but got it done, looks good.

Thanks for the update and install tips. We can't test fit every combination so it's nice to hear feedback from everyone!

That or buy a 2011 car with the holes already in place. To truly be a structural member for the strut towers, the part must become integral to the chassis. With no existing holes, the only option is to make holes...

The install really is very simple and can be done in about 2 hours. The brace itself is your drill guide. HERE is a link to the instructions to get a better idea of the installation process.

I was going to say... 3hours? lol..... I imagine with a 2011, this install would be very quick and easy... even for tards like myself.

I gotta ask, what is the advantage or disadvantage to this model over your other 4 point brace?

The other brace (STB014) reaches all the way forward to the fender/core support area. This ties the forward bracing into the strut towers, triangulating the engine bay a little better and adding rigidity to the front end. Unfortunately the forward bars are not compatible with many of the aftermarket air boxes so we developed our new brace (STB016).
