I don't trust Motor Trend's predictions all that much. They just seem to speculate more and in advance

That's not fair. You should get out and commandeer a big wheel. Then you'll have comparable speed and you won't be putting out any pollutants

I'm laughing my ass off, Hahaha!!! (wheeeezeeee)

anywho...I'm not sold on this LS9, yet...It's about as possible as an LS3 in the Camaro - which is pretty good, but still not 100%. I'm torn towards this new Legend, the LSX....it's a beast! 640 hp...N/A ...

Unfortunately, with GM, they know how to keep secrets. I don't believe anything about their cars untill I see it - or they release the info themselves. not a 'Source'.

How's this...thought I'd spread the good word.

I don't think we need to speculate anymore...seems pretty clear to me we are gonna be getting an ls3.

Bah...told you so... And no. it's not straight from a press release. BUT, that is GOOD ENOUGH for me!!! Oh, and you notice he didn't mention the LS3, he just said that the LS2 wasn't going in. We all know it's most likely going to be the LS3, but ... well ... YEAH LS3!!!

Just Gimmie :-)

As the current owner of both cars....I don't care....just give me lots of HP for less money than a new vette of equal HP.

I'm not racing this Car...if I was going to race, I'd buy a Z06, or a Ligenfelter...This is a Fun-to-drive-impress-your-friends-and-put-ricers-in-their-place car.

Anything L76 and up will please me just fine...

I definitely intend to take my Camaro to the track very often. Usually VIR, as it's a great track and close to my house. Other tracks and dragstips every once and a while. I don't have money for a Z06, but even if I did I would rather just buy and build a Super Camaro then get a new Vette. I love the Corvette, but I just want the best Camaro I can buy, not just the best Chevrolet

Good Point.

SIDENOTE: Just curious...you say you plan on taking it to the track...what type of tranny are you planning on getting? Manual, or Auto/paddle?

Just for my edification...
