i would suggest that your friend place cards on the front seat of the cars.that is what people do that are passing out flyers for future car shows.when i pass out cards,i always look the person up and give it to them.i never touch any car at a car show.some people just take things too seriously.

I'm glad this post stade civill.I for one have rules like most about car show manner. First you never I mean never touch some ones car or property. Flyers and cards come with the shows. Some shows are so big you will spend 5 or ten min cleaning all the sheets up. Lol. This forum (club)is so big because of the members spreding the word. I for one always look for the person first. It's better that way just for talking to the owners and checking out the ride. After all that's a big part the ride right. But being mean is never an excuse. If I can't find you and you drive a 5gen YEA YOUR GETTING A CARD IN YOUR WIPER. Sorry you only get one no redose. Velcro wall dam that's fun sh#t. Can't wate for havocs.

I go to a lot of cars shows with many different types and values of cars and I have to say, I don't like people taking it upon themselves to mess with my car just to promote something. When I have something to hand out, I give it to them in person ,but I never touch another person's car unless they allow me to sit in it or something that they allow. I've seen many times when someone meant well by putting their clubs card under a wiper to also give them a fender mark by rubbing their belt buckle or pants button against the fender while leaning in to place the card. I don't think it's an unreasonable request to not have fingers molesting your car while at a car show. I bet if you were at a Walmart and saw someone at your camaro doing this it would piss you off. I guess we have more respect for other peoples rides down here in Pa.

I can understand someone getting a little upset but it would appear this time they blew it out of proportion. No damage was done to the car. We all understand the feelings each of us has for our cars. I highly doubt anyone here would intentionally disrespect someone else's car. That's not how we operate. Especially the New England members. My feelings are that it wasn't a chinese food restaurant flyer. It was a card at a car show promoting and obvious area of interest to the cars owner. For the owners future reference when at car shows if you don't want flyers leave your windows up and stick a "Please look but don't touch!" sign (like the ones that are all over the place at classic car shows) in the window to insure your car is left alone. I know you are upset and no one intended that to happen. Hopefully this hasn't soured anyone on participating in events together.

I love how this thread went from some one getting the "whats what" to fritters, blow up jousting, fish and chips, human bowling and sexual tension.
