If you're driving hard enough out of a culdesac to do that, then you're driving like an idiot.

Thanks for sharing the story on what happened....maybe we can all learn from it. So sorry for your accident but at least you, nor anyone else, were not injured, and that may be the silver lining to the episode.

Sucks it happened, but don't try to make it sound like you weren't driving like an ass lol.
not lying, when I exit the area I always add more fuel than needed. If you read I said I took off like norma..not normal speeds and normal for me is faster than normal

and Yes I admit I was an idiot, and I always drove like an ass. In my truck and this car. Now I see why they're in place. Now I'm without a car

Really no point in attacking him, overestimating the amount of gas given or just driving overzealously, his Camaro is hurted :( And hes safe, the ringer.

Glad nobody got hurt! I hope your car gets fixed ASAP and you're back to enjoying the Camaro .

(again - this isn't necessarily directed at you)- but I continually remind people that it is A BAD IDEA to SHUT YOUR TRACTION CONTROL OFF unless you're on a track. And every time I do, I get a few people who think I'm wrong or crazy or whatever.........

I DO NOT CARE HOW GOOD YOU THINK YOU CAN DRIVE...... the reality is that most of us think we're better than we are. That's why there are these occurrences called "Accidents" -- so please - I'm not saying this to put anyone down or to harangue anyone.....I simply see too many of these incidents happening.....

WHEN it happens - there is invariably an insurance claim - -more insurance claims mean higher premiums - so you are costing everyone more money. Secondly - in some instances, you lose control and not only wreck YOUR Camaro - but you wreck other peoples' cars and trucks ....and/or destroy others' property. And in severe cases, the unthinkable happens.......and you can go to jail for a long time when that happens........

So - please - the Camaro team BEGS you - please - leave the Traction Control and Stability Control ON when driving on public roads..........
Well said!

Note to self, never take stabillitrak off. Never take off traction control. Unless in a big wide open area alone. Okay, I'm good.

Gotta find that big empty parking lot with nothing.. and I mean nothing on the pavement. Then it's fun time!
