Okay...so GMs executive offc. just called me and is taking the dealership's word over mine that the paint is not off enough on the front fascia for them to authorize a repainting of it. They are, however, willing to look at detailed pics of the paint color for a "final" decision. Apparently, there is no one above them to make a further decision if they say no after reviewing the pics.

If this is how I'm going to be treated by GM, then this is the last product I'm going to buy from them, period. No ZL1 for me... Over the years, the purchase of 3 trucks and 1 Camaro later appear to have been a waste on my part to be considered a faithful buyer of GM products.
