Before that I did most everything with a 3/8" that went up to 90 but the camaro wheels and suspension have some real high specs.

Certain specs I don't mess with. Suspension, wheels, brakes, and engine. They are what they are for a reason. Safety. I don't buy into the "my grandpappy did it this way for 60 years and nothing went wrong" mentality. I know a lot of morons; doesn't mean because he runs into a brick wall for fun I want to as well. I had the wheel studs snap on a previous car and the wheel came off on the highway after a shop didn't torque it properly. Talk about pucker factor.
Yeah A 1/2" is your best bet, I bought a 3/8" because it was high enough to go to what my HHR Specs were, but when I got the Camaro and saw It was 140 I had to go the !/2" wish I had gotten it in the first place.

Having the 20s shouldn't really change anything. I'm pretty sure the guys with the RS package are still supposed to torque them to 140.

As for how to use the torque wrench, ask your neighbor if you borrow his, or look at the instructions if you buy one because I think they may have different ways of setting them. Also make sure you set it to 140ft-lbs and not newton meters.

An impact gun is fine for removing lugs, but I would NEVER use one to install them. It's a torque wrench or nothing. I would only use a lug wrench to tighten lugs when changing a flat tire, but since the Camaro doesn't come with a spare...
