I can honestly say that bar none the Customer service, performance and quality of parts award goes to Pedders! I have pulled other brand parts off of my car to replace them with Pedders.

Forgive me for my simplistic mind.....
Am I understanding that Pedders and/or Padt Coilovers are rebranded BC Coilovers? Or are they made by the same manufacture, but slightly different or what? This is interesting as I'm looking to upgrade sometime soon and had NO idea about any of this. Clarification please..

Nevermind,I found this thread.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150807 But still curious if there are differences between the Brands that are exclusive. Example...shock settings, spring rates, etc.

I have one more question guys, If I want to chose between PFADT adjastable coilovers and pedders suppercar coilovers. I will tell you guys what I need and you tell me what is my best choice.
my car will be for drag race, auto cross, DD, track. - I dont want something just for racing. it seems like pedders coilovers is for everything and PDAFT is more for drag race. - Another important thing is: which one is easier to adjust that not require to take off the wheels? how long it will take me to adjust it? - Which one of them will be more comfortable as a DD car ? I like the PFDAT because its made in USA ( to be honest ). that what make me I want to go with PFDAT. I like the PFADT drag race package stage 1 and I think I want to go with it. ( I'm not sure yet ) may main consearn is the coilovers ( its a lot of $$$ )

There are actually two different coilovers that we currently offer:
Adjustable Street Coilovers: ![]() And Drag Race Coilovers: ![]() The Adjustable Coilovers and the Drag Coilover packages are similar, but have very different handling capabilities. Our Adjustable Street Coilovers are a fantastic all around use coilover system that's extremely capable on the street, autox, road course and drag strip. The drag coilovers are suitable for street use, but are REALLY optimized for the drag strip. If you're looking for an all around great suspension package, the Pfadt Adjustable coilovers should be given serious consideration. Quote:
1. Pfadt Race Engineering Coilovers are designed from the ground up at our engineering offices in Salt Lake City, Utah. This includes all mounting points, spring and damping rates, lengths, material selection and construction. 2. From the ground up you can be assured that a Pfadt Coilover was custom designed for your Camaro, and not adapted to work for your car from another chassis. 3. Pfadt Race Engineering Coilovers aren't private labeled versions of another companies design. If you want to get a Pfadt Coilover on your vehicle the only way to do it is to contact us or a member of our Dealer Network. We work really hard to give drivers the best suspension options for their Corvettes and Camaros. A big part of that is making sure that parts fit correctly every time and are going to be durable enough to last hard use... Quality is much easier to control when you're actually designing the parts. If you ever have questions about any of our products please don't hesitate to call us. We can be reached at 1-888-972-2464 Monday-Friday 9-5pm Mountain Standard time, or at info@pfadtracing.com |
