If I had to buy a full size truck, it wouldnt be a toyota, nissan or other. The new GM series are extremely nice, and IMO theres nothing that compares. I agree, the tundra is fugly.

Supras..boy those things are fun to street race. I had one want to run one night, the end result wasnt pretty for him. I was on the motor, found out later he was spraying 100 shot direct port nitrous, and he still got beat by about 12 car lengths. That was back in the 3rd gen T/A. carbed 355 with a 6spd.

It's very humorous to me (and I'm sure others) that Toyota is all set to debut their beloved Tundra, but when they see what GM is putting out, they postpone the debut for some redesign. Mostly they were talking about the interior, but seriously? You take something "back to the shop" for a little makeover because you saw the competition and this is what you come up with? How does anyone sitting in a "final design studio" step back, look at that truck and think "yeah, that's nice...build it". I'd say based on the slow sales and the fact that Toyota has to put some serious cash on the hood to even compete in pricing that the general perception about the Tundra is average to poor.

I will give them this....at least they finally made it a full-size and not a 95% full-size pickup like the previous generations.
Keep in mind thought that the styling dept at Toyota has had very few hits over here. So making a bad (not bad as in good, just simply bad) looking truck is merely par for the course
