I'm sure we can get Camaro Performers or Super Chevy to document the road trip as well, which I will start working on

We have a year to plan, save and plan our vacation time from work, schools are on summer break.

LETS ROLL
My thought exactly! We dont know if we are going, daughter coming out for a week in the summer then she's off to her freinds on Oahu and not sure when that will be yet. But yes would be nice to be more of a vacation then just racing to Indy and back. I have been all over the west when younger and Doris hasn't seen it yet. To See the sights along 66 and a different route back and do the same would be fun, but figure about 9-10 days total depending on what comes up. And of course the cost mentioned so you figure it is a full blown summer vacation.

Plenty of time to coordinate so we can meet up with as many as possible. There is the Sin City group and AZ as well

Leo, Some of us don't have the time for any number of reasons.

I've logged 13,000 miles on my Camaro just doing the Hot Rod Power Tour twice and the third time will be next year. I am more than capable of making the drive, but can't get all the time needed off for this event. I'd like to see everyone get out and hit the road for the Power Tour, but most can't.

Cruising out there would be an experiance of a lifetime, but that is a lot of time off work for me too. I am going to see what I can do to make the drive and if not, at least fly out with the others that go that way.

Hi guys!

A few Central Cali peeps are considering making the trip...some fly, some ship, and some drive...depending on the options available.

Haddad Motorsports posted up that they're looking into renting a couple of car haulers...they don't have any price info, but wanted to put it out there for those interested.

I'm with BuffnShine on this one though...I'm a driver, love to drive, have always dreamed of driving cross country and seeing the sites, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to take advantage of. I'm not getting any younger!

FYI...here's the Cali thread in the CamaroFest section: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172318
