oh and to add to that note...tell your brother I said thnks for coming over. Even though I'm not a huge Bret Michaels fan, my opinion doesn't matter anyways, but I have nothing but a ton of respect for any celebrity/let alone anyon that comes out here to entertain the troops, it shows that they care and it really does mean alot to the people that are forced to be here like the soldiers(I'm not forced to be here :P). It's great to see celebrities that do that, besides those ones tht just sit in their mansions bashing the war. D*mn hippies, even if they don't agree with the war they could at least do some type of duty for their country and entertain those that risk their lives for their freedom. OK enough of my ranting...
I'm kind of angry though the Post Exchange isn't selling transformers yet! Well not kinda but really....I need to get my Camaro fix.... As crappy of a movie as it was I watched the Marine for a few minutes just to see that Police SS....so heartwrenching to see them destroy it though. I miss my baby(the 2000 Z28) and my dog....and maybe the girlfriend.

I'm also working to get my degree. I have one year left. Well I've had one year left since I quit 5 yrs ago...LOL But I finally decided what I want to do with my life. So I"m working on getting in some online courses. I just turned 26 last month. Of course on a military salary I won't have enough to buy a Harley or a house, but maybe some hot, rich chick will see me drivin in my new camaro and I won't need to worry about those two... See it all starts with a plan. Be safe and keep in touch. |

Speaking of Camaros in parking lots, WHENEVER I drive mine through Saddle Ridge's(a kinda countryish club but is fulla hot women) parking lot, this always happens, a group of girls walking by always screams either nice ride or Hey! it also helps that mine is ungodly loud, I went down to South Carolina and had my uncle take out the catalytic converters. lol ...or the sort, so I can imagine the new Camaro. I saw a picture of a guy that photoshopped one in a forum that I can't find, and it was a really dark black and it had dark grey on the top going from the hood to the rear(except I'd make mine like a translucent darker ghost grayish color), I really think that would be what I'd get mine painted like....well I can imagine it painted like that going through the S. Ridge parking lot....omy haha. Now I just need to find a good painter around the area... |

I'm stationed at Ft. Eustis (in Newport News). The earliest I could come home is next April, but it is more likely it will be June - Nov of next year. I don't mind June cause that just gives me more time to save money, but I'm not so sure on Nov.
But that's just more money to put into the car... Gotta have some Foose Wheels!!! I have also been thinking about what it would look like with some lambo doors. I know a lot of people have posted about how they don't think they belong on a Camaro, but I think that would give it a uniqueness that would make it stand apart from all other camaro's on the road. And you can't see them until you open the doors, so it's like a kick a$$ feature that is only visable when you want it to be. Think about it. You just pick up a hot chick... You're walking to the car. You open the door for her, but instead it goes up... I call that BONUS POINTS...LOL I'm not sure on the color yet. I was gonna go with Black also, just cause I had my plates picked out "GRM-RPR". But I've begun to change my mind. I have a cousin with a hugger orange camaro with white stripes and I love it, and think it would be awesome to take them to a show together. But I'm becoming more and more partial to White with blue stripes. At least that's what I'm leaning towards at this moment. Check back tomorrow and I'm sure I'll have changed my mind again. I'll just have to wait until I can compare them side by side.I must say that I love sound of that little club with the hot chicks... I'm gonna have to pace myself on my first trip back to Hooters. After not drinking for a year or possibly 18 months... I may end up... which in turn means no...:tweetz: Not a good way to start out my life as a Camaro owner.

I don't know too much about the lambo doors for the new Camaro, but I am definitely going to do it with my old one, as I said in a past post, I hate how huge and heavy the doors are, people love to park close to me and it's a biotch sometimes getting in my car.
Yeah, I should be getting back about August of 08, doing 11 months here, enough to get me a damn tax refund. I feel ya on the not drinking for a while, I have a high alcohol tolerance and it takes me alot to get drunk, but not being able to drink for 11 months is gonna lower it ALOT, which I think is a good thing. It's alot cheaper to get drunk. Just don't be puking in your new car and catch yourself with a DUI, the Camaro doesn't look to great in an impound.

Oh I don't drink and drive....
(Anymore) I learned my lesson about 5 years ago. I have a buddy who doesn't drink. So I drive us where ever we are going and he does the drivin back. No way in HELL that I'm puking in my car. I also had a high tolerance when I left... Can't wait to test my limits when I get back. I got lucky and will be taking my R&R during Xmas. So I'll be home for NEW YEARS!!!

I'm good. The Camaro will just be my weekend toy. I'm plannin on keepin the miles way down on it. If I plan on doin it up right, I'll just take out what ever is my everyday driver at the time. I currently have an Expedition, but I'm plannin on sellin it as soon as I get back. I'm really hopin to find a nice 4th Gen as an everyday driver. Maybe I can find one in black and I can still go with my license plate idea...hmmmmmm
