I did this same thing last week.
>>Ordered a SS emblem for the blacked out rear panel.
>>I also silver painted the triangle plastsi pieces inside the trunk
>>Took my bowtie off the front, and vinyl blacked it out.
>>removed the SS from the trunk, and the Camaro from both fenders.

Debating if I want to remove the small SS from the grill?
all on a silver ice metallic also!

I've replaced engines, did cam swaps, fabbed up tranny mounts but for the life of me I can't get these bezels out of my 12. What is the trick? Yours look great and I need to do this asap.

It hurts the fingers. You have to keep pressing and pulling at the same time if you can. If you have a trim tool u should use that. Wrap it in a micro fiber otherwise it will dent the plastic bezel. I didn't have a trim tool so I used a wide flathead screwdriver. Good luck. It takes some effort. I would also spray some soapy water or something to keep the gritty dirt that gets in between the bezel and the paint to keep from scratching the paint.

AintQik, once you work the tabs from the back, i used a small flat head and wrapped a microfiber rag around it, and used the screw driver to go between the tail light and the gap in the bezel i managed to make pushing the tabs on the back. then just gently pried as i pulled. and they came out. the 4th one i had down pat by then and got it out in about 10 seconds. just play with it and it'll come out.....that sounded bad
