I just crashed my Synergy.... Im still sick from hearing "its totaled" I hope you're luckier, i Loved this color

Looks like a new rear end and axle back exhaust, but you never know until you get her into the shop. As for the aftermarket vs. stock argument, since he hit you, he has to put it back to the way it was, including all aftermarket parts. If the accident had been your fault, and your insurance was footing the bill, that could be different. Most insurers require that you inform them of any aftermarket parts you install on you car. IF you inform them, you are covered. If not, usually not covered. Depending on the parts you install, though, it may affect your premium.

Glad you are ok and sorry about the car but I have to ask; how would you have gone through the windshield being struck from behind as the police or medics said you would have had you not been wearing your seat belt? Just curious.

Boy! that makes me sick, glad you are okay. My jeep wrangler was struck the same way, dead in the rear by a toyota tacoma. I was able to drive my wrangler away, but his truck had to be towed. They tried to total my wrangler but I wanted it fixed. There was damage to the rear cargo area which raised the repair price. When they gave it back to me it looked good as new and drove as well. It cost the guys insurance company $11,000.00. If you really love your camaro make them fix it or buy you a new one.

We have a client of my law firm who got hit by a cab HARD and I pray you don't have the issues he did, because the cab company is "self-insured" (meaning they pay out of their own pocket if they hit someone) and they are dragging their feet and not paying for ANYTHING yet and it's been over a year. The Statute of Limitations is 2-3 years depending on your state. Good luck and if you need any advice in the legal arena let me know.

Having been through this twice, the insurance company will cover the repairs. In your case, go to a shop with a good reputation, and they will make it as good as new, including fixing all the aftermarket stuff.

The company you got your exhaust from should be under warranty I'd think. the car is still new so the exhaust isnt old at all. Call the company show them pictures of wat happened see what they can do. Sorry about what happened hopefully everything will be ok and things will turn over smoothly

So sorry to see this zach. What a shame. It will be put back together good and you will be back on the road in no time. Stingray does awesome work if you want to have it towed there. Ferman fixed my front fender like brand new also. Remember you get to choose who repairs it. State law. If you need anything let us know. Glad you were ok.

Thanks for that Dave. I got it towed to Ferman last night. My insurance is supposed to have a claims adjuster out there tomorrow or saturday so I'll know the real damage soon enough.
