Cant believe they thought i wouldnt notice

Ok as some of u may be aware my car was in the body shop due to someone scratching the paint! They had to take the back side window out in order for them to do thier painting and therefore the plastic molding on the interior had to come off to take the window out..anyways i was cleaning my car and got a nice surprise when i looked at the window, whom ever took it out and put the plastic piece back in scratched and cracked it and on top of that didnt tell anyone in hopes that i was just a dumb blonde and would never notice ( thats just my guess) well i took it back to the body shop and the guy i have been dealing with was super apologetic and not very happy with who ever thought it would be best to just not say anything in hopes i wouldnt see it..anyways he sent me up to the dealers parts dept so they could order the new piece and will be replacing it as soon as it comes in! just amazes me how the guy that installed the piece thought it was not a big enough deal to tell his boss so they could have ordered the piece then and told me what they had to do rather than me finding it and having to tell them about it..all well i guess its getting replaced so happy endings!

It looks like they cut it with a razor knife when they were cutting out the weather stripping or the window seal.

what they did is unacceptable, however i believe the guy who did this was concerned for his job, probably believing if he mentions this, they would discipline him,or fire him!..still!..he should have done the right thing and told management!
