I have to give credit when it is due.

Even though she won't read this I'd like to publicly thank my kickass wife for finding this car when even the dealership I originally was working with didn't find it. Her dedication to helping me and her support has been amazing. I'd call myself one lucky ass guy for having a wife who not only let me buy an expensive (on our budget) sports car, but also single handedly hunted down exactly what I wanted and got the car set aside and had the sales manager call me to finalize the deal.

And my son, who sat in the car for 3 hours on the way there, hung out at the dealership for 2-3 hours, and rode back home another 3 hours without complaining more than you'd expect from any 6 year old put in that position. He's a trooper and I told him I'm buying him a toy for this!

I have a wonderful, supportive family, and thanks to them my dream of owning a 426hp badass car has come true.

Someone pinch me, please. This day has been unreal.

The one below was several shots on my iPhone stitched together with an app on my iPhone. I'll get some better pics up when I have time with my real camera and after tint... can't wait.

It's called AutoStitch. This was a poor implementation of the app, it really works well if you compose the shots right. Recently on a trip to Chicago I took panorama with my DSLR, put them on my phone, and stitched them with the app- the app works better than Photoshop CS3 and it's just a couple bucks.

If I may ask, what's with the swirl marks you mentioned? Did that happen during PDI? I gave my dealer explicit instructions to not attempt to clean my Camaro when it arrives. I'll do all that personally.

No idea how it happened. They brought it back and put a little wax on it and it looked slightly better, so I'm optimistic buffing it out with whatever they use will work. If not... another 3 hour road trip up to OK to get the hood swapped for one off their lot without swirl marks. lol

Price was about the same. Little bit more but happy with the price. Wasn't going to waste time trying to squeeze a couple hundred out of the dealer, I just wanted the car and the price we first landed on was

Don't take it back to the dealer for the swirl removing, that's how it got there in the first place right? Take it to a quality Detailer and have it done right. I tell you this because I detail cars, trust me. Your dealer will also pay for it, they have paid me.
