I can't believe that anyone would buy a 5.0 since their Getrag M6 transmission is faulty. Hundreds of 2011 and 2012 owners are stuck with their cars for now, until the government concludes there investigation into the matter. Here is page 460 of the talk about lawsuits and Lemon laws. Ford is denying that their is a problem and is going to end up in serious trouble when the government makes them step up to the plate!!

Didn't basically the same thing happen with the 2010+ Camaros with the TR6060? Granted it was only (supposedly) the first 25k cars that had issues, there was a lot of angry people, and petitions for GM to do a recall and all kinds of other jazz... I've come to accept this as part of buying a new car within the first few years of a new release... If it breaks, warranty will fix it.

I test drove a brand new GT back in 08 because my girlfriend at the time wanted one... No matter how slow, or fast, or anything else in between I shifted from 2nd to 3rd it would grind... Needless to say, she did not buy the car.

Good luck! And post pics. I haven't used my imagination since I turned my parents microwave into a make believe car wash business for my slot cars. Forgot that it was still plugged in...

In about 20 minutes I'll be driving the exact car I ordered, errr it's twin. This dealership is night and day difference with customer service. More info to come.

Some small swirl marks on the hood- dealer agreed to have it buffed at their expense and if it didn't fix them they'll replace the hood. I think buffing it will work fine.
