just make sure you clean the bezels real good before you start spraying them. also take your time doing it.

I did not sand mine and they still look perfect, thats what the adhesion promotor is for. I mean you could to be safe though. But on the back of the promotor is says no sanding necessary.

just to make sure they stick real good I did. don't sand them till the bare plastic. just sand till it looks like its brushed metal.

use a fine sand paper if you do sand your bezels. I suggest the 180 grit. more than 180 will be to aggressive and less than that will take longer to sand the bezels.

You can just use the Adhesion Promoter, and that will do the job just fine. sanding the bezels is not really necessary. its just a matter of preference.

I definately think Satin Black is the way to go, I had my entire rear sail painted in Flat Black and I am unhappy with it, I am getting it repainted in Satin Black.

Won't 180 grit leave sand marks? Seems a little too rough.

Yea that's to rough. Most people don't even sand. Just use adhesion promoter then paint. If you want to sand I would stay around 800-1000 grit

Well I'm in the middle of painting my bezels. Used some flat black that I had. On my way to get Satin now. Those of you that have done this mod, is it advisable to put a clear coat on when finished?
