you mean the torque app? if that is what you are talking about it's awesome when it's actually reading the ecm but if you are going to use android torque app than I would recommend obd link or kiwi wifi adapters. They go anywhere from 100-150, or you can datalog on laptop and use autotap or scanxl. I am personally using scanxl.
