Nah, I'm alright. You know me. I'm Mr. Happy! It is true though. Some people just don't care about others' property. No rhyme or reason. "Some people just want to watch the world burn." I personally don't but there are too many out there that do.

i'm sure GM will not forget their loyal customers. we all know GM is building lot cars for the dealers showrooms. i'm almost willing to bet that if a dealership receives that lot car, a few of the pre-ordered cars will be on that same shipment, depending on how many allotments they had in the first place. it would be dumb to just send 1 car and that car not be a pre-order.

with that said, we know the cars are being made. we've seen pictures of the facilities, we've heard reports of them being shipped on transport trucks. we know we will be getting these cars.

yes, it's taking long but i think that's expected. we were explained to about the slow ramp up for quality purposes. so it will take more time just to build the car. GM is really looking to make a quality car so the inspection time will probably be longer as well. i think that means it would probably take a couple of weeks just to go through the build and inspection part of the process. once it's passed for shipping it could take a week or two, maybe even three or four weeks in transit depending on the destination. some one in san diego will obviously get their car later than some one in detroit. imagine how long it will take to get to us in hawaii.

scott keeps telling us to "keep the faith". i think we should listen to a guy that's been so loyal and helpful to us in the community. be patient. the company needs us for it to survive, and the economy probably needs the company to survive as well

This is why GM was against bankruptcy from the beginning, people only see the headlines "GM declaring bankruptcy" and most assume that means the worst. I guarantee you after people complement your camaro, you will get comments like, but I heard they were bankrupt, or is that one of the last cars GM made before they went bankrupt? Just wait for the amount of mis-informed people out there, it is going to get worse the more they are in the headlines, not better. People only recall the bad part of the story, not the fact that it is a pre-packaged bankruptcy, or that it is only to deal with legacy problems that have nothing to do with vehicle warranty's, etc.

Rogue Leader: Tell all the nay sayers that you cancelled your order. Then relax. When your Camaro arrives, do a burnout in the parking lot, flashing a big smile, while you wave at them. Sweet Victory.

Third, when you get your car, know that you will get 100 compliments from complete strangers for every negative comment you've received so far. Your first three months with a Camaro will be as much fun as you've ever had. Keep the faith.
Its tough when they are relatives and co-workers, most of my close friends have been supportive!

I'm looking forward to getting spoken to by strangers and stuff, I had the same thing when I had my vette, people would come up just to BS about cars when they saw it, its cool....

I understand what everyone is saying, BUt what I'm getting tired of is waiting and hopeing to see some deliveries and transports with the camaros on em. I am loosing excitement more and more. Everyday I keep hopeing to see someone post they took delivery.

But yea I have like 2 or 3 that seems to be their fav. question. Get the car yet, believe it when I see it and so on. I am with you guys getting sick of it.

Yea I blabbed off to all my coworkers, family and friends the day I ordered last year. I wish I'd have kept it a tight secret and just showed up with the camaro one day. My father in law is a die hard ford man, he rags me every time I talk to him. I have the faith and no matter if it takes till October, I will have my reward, and a few gray hairs.

When you tell your co workers you ordered a car atleased one of them will go out and buy a new car off the lot just to steal your thunder. Ive had this happen twice and then you get to hear"why did you order it that way". Most co workers are Jerk O@@ and not you friends anyway.

That's what I'm doing... the only one that knows is my wife and as a matter of fact, if my truck doesn't sell before then, I'll be driving it in for the trade and driving home in the SS... I'll be telling my kids the truck transformed right before I got in it at the store.

If you like a house and it's price, would you not buy it because the construction company is going out of business?

Not that GM is going completely out but if you like something and can afford it I say go for it.

The only thing I can think of is that I get a really demented/psycho look in my eyes when talking about the Camaro. Not sure anyone wants to step on my dream car and take the chance of me snapping.
