Anyone getting tired of f***ing hearing this....

Sorry to use profanity but its the only way I could point out how ANNOYING it is when I tell people I'm getting the Camaro and I hear back

"Yeah, are they actually gonna make it?"
"Assuming GM is still around..."
"Don't bet on it, get your money back.."
"Yeah thats what they're telling you now but you're not gonna get it..."
"The cars will never even make it to dealerships"

Seriously I HATE the newsmedia, I hate that people read and buy into this crap, and I REALLY HATE that people feel the need to rain on my parade by automatically jumping on the bullshit bandwagon from the headlines.

Is this driving anyone else insane!!?!?!?!

/rant off.....

Normally I don't care, but I keep having to hear it over and over, and people are insistent, they won't even listen when I point out that the info is incorrect. I'm not worried that my car won't get built, I am 10000% sure that nothing will happen to Chevy, but noone seems to want to listen to reason.

I'm really against doomsday scenarios, they drive me insane. My Aunt is a big doomsdayer, she pulled all her money out of the stock market and put it into Gold. Why? Because when the world currencies crash Gold will be the only thing worth anything....

Having to listen to it day in and out is pissing me off, I can only imagine what GM employees, and even more so reps like Scott have to deal with.

GM not being around and honoring warranties well into the future should be the least of everybody's problems. I guess what sticks in my craw is the fact that all of the pre-orders have to wait until all of the dealerships have randomly equipped Camaros so people can buy them right off the lot immediately, and they are getting like 3-4 cars from what I'm hearing. I wish GM would stop making us f'ing wait for this media circus bullshit to end on May 6th to take place because they are just wasting time. As you can see, many people are already switching to buying the Challenger, even on this fan site. I don't blame them one bit.

Perhaps this is the perfect analogy of General Motors: Not making their customers a priority forced pre-orders to wait and let them not reward their "valued clients" by increasing the cost of should-be standard accessories and remove options people really wanted (like the shifter). I'll even bet dollars to donuts that my dealer STILL doesn't know that the shifter code was deleted.

Only from "General Motors" do we get "General Answers" because they sure like to dance around issues and never explain why they do it. I'm telling you, by the time I get my car, I'm seriously going to hate what it represents.

What Scott and his team have to put up with... Imagine how many people at car shows go up to them and ask those same "questions" and tell them how much GM sucks. I'm sure I would get fired my first day on the job after chewing out some idiot.

I would just say "alright" to your friends/acquaintances. Take a list. When you get your car, mail/email them a picture of your imaginary ride.

Come on, I'm tired of hearing about Scott man. Scott knew what his job description was when he took the job, so if the sheer repetition of these monotonous questions and insults gets under his skin, he should look for a new line of work. I give him no sympathy whatsoever. Hell man UCF, I've seen more effort on your part compiling that tracker than I've seen from Scott so far. If I wanted a love/hate relationship, I'd have one with my ex-girlfriend and not my f'ing Camaro.

Well I was more referring to the people that work for him, all the people that work the shows. But at any rate, he has held that position far longer than the financial mess. So your comments are unfounded.

Damn right I won't, but the sad truth is that once I get my car, they'll have their vengeance because I'll be driving around a constant reminder of how many spoonfulls of PR I had to eat every day until I got it. If it looks like and smells like , it's a pretty safe bet it IS

You have to adjust UCF. He hasn't done that. You need to adjust and still figure out a way to get results. You can't dance around in circles and then click your heels three times and expect anything to get done let alone have anybody believe your words. Enduring is one thing, but adapting and dealing are other important things.

This isn't just for Scott and he's supplied plenty if information worth noting. I'm not going to trash him unabatedly because he really doesn't deserve that, but I feel I have a right to voice public displeasurement with how he's handled things thus far and yes, it is clearly my opnion which certainly might not affect yours, which I do respect by the way, if you can believe it. People critique me all the time with my work performance, so why should Scott and his team be exempt? If he is in charge or directing his team, he is held responsible. Was Wagoner responsible entirely for GM's debacle? No, but he was the first to go AND the last to know.
