We need a "Pointless, Never Ending, Thread" Section for all the oil change, oil brand, V8 vs V6, auto vs stick, etc threads.

Let the filter do it's job, it will collect all the junk. In the end it is what you feel comfortable with.

metal flakes...jeez, i could eat a few flakes of metal and it probably wouldn't hurt me. small flakes of metal in a metal engine...does anyone really think that would damage an engine?

Did mine at 500/1500/3000 miles and then 5K intervals..
