Ya, good catch. Your right. The process the coater's use would be terrible for the cats. I worded it wrong. What I meant was to get the HF cats at the sametime as the headers. But if you read it, seems like I'm stating to coat the cats as well.

Unless it's a show car, not worth the $ IMO. It's under the hood and 99% of the people that see your car will never see your headers. I can live with a slight temp increase and put the $ into something else.

Problem is I'm the 1%. But ya, that money could be spent elsewhere for better gains. It's sort of like the icing on the cake or popcorn with a movie. You don't need it, but it does make it better.
