No, meth is never "needed" but it is a very nice to have and gets you more power and safety.

My apology, I have been away for a trade show. Meth is needed for octane, octane is needed once you are roughly over 550RWHP in my experience for longevity.
Being that we make 550rwhp from our base kit, essentially yes, meth is needed for anything over our base kit-stg1 unless you wish to mix 100 octane in the tank.

I have a novi 1500 with an 8rib on a 13 camaro ss i bought recently and am wanting to upgrade to either a ysi or the 2200x, can i trade my unit in? If so how much? (I tried sending a pm but your inbox is full)
