The "Five" HP/TQ Levels of the ECS Supercharger Systems

We get this question asked a lot in-house and on the boards here... Well, your base kit will make "XXX"? If I add meth it will be "XXX"? How about cam will it be "XXX"? If I do a forged motor what will I make "XXX"?

Well here is a QUICK guide to the ECS Supercharger System, horsepower levels. Levels 1-4 are achieved with the same supercharger, and supercharger head unit pulley. Since we use a restrictor plate design, you will never have to buy another pulley from Levels 1-4. When you reach the Level 5++, you will be purchasing a YSi head unit, and our 10-Rib drive system (We accept trade-ins on all 8-Rib systems and the Novi SL1500 head units).

**All horsepower gains are estimated, some vehicles will make more or less power than the below advertised figures**

From Top To Bottom:

Dyno #1 Base Kit, STOCK Vehicle besides Kit, Stock Bottom End 624rwhp/589rwtq

Dyno #2 Base Kit, ECS Alky Control System, ARH LTs, Stock Cam, Stock Bottom End 754rwhp/695rwtq

Dyno #3 Base Kit, ECS Alky Control System, ARH LTs, ECS Big Blower Camshaft Package, Stock Bottom End 833rwhp/732rwtq

Dyno #4 Base Kit, ECS Alky, ECS Big Blower Camshaft Package, ARH LTs, ECS 417ci 847rwhp/764rwtq

Dyno #5 Base Kit, ARH LTs, Upgrade to 10-Rib Drive, Upgrade to YSi, RHS 427ci 1028rwhp/888rwtq

Our base kit is enough to get you going and will NEVER require a bracket, ducting, or intercooler upgrade to reach the top tier HP goals you have set forth. The YSi is a direct bolt-on to our current brackets.

The link on the website suggests its a complete kit in every sense of the word.
Great numbers. Do any of the bigger kits use A-W coolers instead?

None we use the A-W intercoolers on. For a race application not a bad idea though and something could be made. For the street, the A-A is perfect.

Yes it is a COMPLETE kit out of the box to bolt-on for the Level "1".

--------------------------

Our kits do NOT require bumper removal. No more risk of scratching the bumper, or the tedious work of removing & reinstalling your bumper with a helper.

Base systems come complete with a polished headunit, matte black powder coated bracket package and polished charge piping, an industry standard Tial 50mm blowoff valve, a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump and 60lb Motron injectors, and a high flow front mounted air to air intercooler system in addition to a dedicated Crank pulley and HD Tensioner assembly. The kits are complete with all necessary hardware, silicone hoses and belts.

System Contents & Features:
• Kit adds approximately 200hp to otherwise stock vehicles, and the capability to deliver far more on modified cars.
• Belt driven NOVI 1500 centrifugal supercharger provides unmatched reliability (Vortech YSI upgrade available)
• Fuel management upgrade includes a Kenne Bell “Boost A Pump” and 60# injectors for safe, reliable operation
• Self contained oiling for ease of installation and the best possible lubrication and cooling for the supercharger
• Braided Stainless steel oil drain line
• Tial Q OR Tial Qr 50mm Blowoff Valve.
• Billet aluminum supercharger mounting bracket assembly includes steel double, walled ball bearing idlers, Crank pulley, drive belt and all necessary hardware
• Crank pin kit and new GM Crank bolt included
• High-flow, reusable air filter
• Air inlet restrictor plate integrated into system provides greater low RPM hp & torque while maintaining safe peak RPM boost levels
• PCV oil separator to eliminate oil vapor from intake
• ECS Valve Cover Breather
• Inlet and discharge duct connections utilize heat-resistant silicon sleeves and premium quality stainless steel clamps
• Large, thermally efficient air to air intercooler
• System is designed to work with factory cooling system
• Heavy duty belt tensioner with double walled ball bearing idlers to ensure proper belt tracking and traction
• Kit comes with new NGK TR-6 spark plugs
• New 160 degree thermostat to ensure adequate cooling
• Complete kit fits under stock hood
• 6061 aluminum ducting
• Standard kit comes with polished head unit, matte black powder coated brackets and matte black ducting

All of the ECS Supercharger Kits come with the genuine Tial blow-off valves. You can select the Q (Loud) or Qr (Quieter) valve below, no additional cost!

* Optional: Powder coated Brackets & Ducting to specific paint code colors. Will match your SS exterior paint!

We have not used A-W coolers on anything but the drag cars around here. Our A-A intercoolers are so efficient... This same A-A intercooler holds the Supercharged C6Z Record; 8.57 @ 158 in the 1/4. Just in our C6's its laid out horizontal vs. vertical on the Camaro's.

Quick question. Does this come with tuning or do I have to get it dyno tuned locally?

We can send a base program for you that will be basically finished, but there are too many variables to say it is a "race ready" tune. The start up file is N/C btw with the purchase of the supercharger kit.
