The MAF stayed in, I didn't mess with it.

Also, It's idling correctly now. I removed the MAF, and unclipped it, tried everything I could think of, none of that helped

so could you clarify the current status again??

i was reading through this, http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3660424, and lots of people got the same code and message on their screen and it went away with a little time...

but if your car is still running rough then it's obviously more than your car adapting to a change in pressure or whatever it originally read when it first fired up.

The idle is fine, running is fine, other than the reduced power.

Last update I'm doin. I found that in that black "thing" there is a set of metal "sweeps" that indicate throttle body position. When I tried to get that off to begin with, It just bent that set of sweeps, and there is no getting it back to the way it should be. I dunno how the hell GM manages to get that board in there. It's all molded plastic, no way to get it open aside from breaking it open.

Learn from my fail, fellow C5ers, this is an expensive mistake.

I have no idea BUT it could be logic locked. Take off the negative cable AND the positive cable and touch them together (just the cables...obviously don't touch the battery terminals) and allow it to sit for about 30 mins. Also, while you're waiting, unplug the TB connector (inspect it male/female) and plug it back in and insure the safety clip is pushed down/in too. Then reconnect batt and drive! Let me know what happens if you do try this.

Sounds like I called it. I've seen a couple people do this.
