Optimus Prime,

I talked to Jack Courtney who was upfront and did not tell me any #$##$##$$#@#!!! Very knowledgeable and gave me what info he had. I am going to pick up my reciept for my deposit today and he told me they have a black 2SS/RS in the parking lot waiting to picked up. I am going to go drool, I mean stare at it. Are you famillar with this salesman??? Have you had good fortune thus far?????
Hey 1SS/RS,

I'm afraid I don't know the name, but most of the guys there are good. My salesman is Nino, and I can tell he knows how much I appreciate this car. He told me he'll call me as soon as my car comes in so that I can hopefully catch it before they even take it off the truck. I actually just went today to look at some Camaros. They have a red 1LT/RS out front, and they had a black 2SS/RS (sold) sitting in the detail area, and a CGM 2SS/RS in the service area getting work done. I think it was getting the upgraded wheels or a PDI. It had the ground effects too (nice!).

Also saw the new Equinox (VERY nice crossover) as the GM Zone rep was there.

But overall at Ferman, good experience.

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Drove it home...it drives great, everything is solid. OnStar actually impressed me a great deal. (Never owned a GM before, I know I know)

Acceleration is great, I didn't punch it too hard but I had a bit of an opening on 580. It'll throw you back easily.

In the time that my sales rep (Ken, look for him, he was great) toured me on the car, 3 people came up and asked my permission to look at the car. I've been getting double takes ever since...this thing is everything it said it would be.

Tried to pick 3 pictures I liked of it

Oh Sweet!
Makes me want my Black RS/2SS all the more though. Gosh, I'll be even more jealous as I see your car around town. I got the same tan interior color, but I'll be adding white rally stripes to mine.

CONGRATS!!!!

Noobie Here...

Got mine ordered through Autoway in Clearwater .... Only thing I could base it off of was the Silver one out front ... ( Hard Rock owns it) Mine is just the same but in IOM .... Took 2 weeks just to get a straight answer if my order was even in their system. Was told on 23rd it was in, but could not be confirmed with actual printout until next allocation. Sold at MSRP, no order fee and just going on faith right now. Guess I just have to hurry up and wait !!!

Hey guys. New to the Tampa sub forum. I spotted a SIM and a RJT sitting on a transport truck in a lot at W Sligh and Anderson Ave. Couldn't tell if they were SS or not. Two coming somebody's way. That is a good corner to catch trucks getting loaded off the trains.

Thanks! Although the interior is black (which really works out to a dark gray). One thing I will say...this thing is epically fast. Blink and you're at 60mph

Heh, I pass by the silver one on Autoway on the way to work every day. Autoway has that thing _prominently_ displayed.

Had to bring my car back to Dimmitt for a touch up (had a light surface scratch on the back left panel, looked to be from the buffer, but it could polish right out)...they took care of it immediatly and without issue.

I'm going to reiterate that I'm nothing but happy with their level of service and the near rockstar treatment I have gotten.

Yes - After talking to Ryan I felt a little better. My sales guy was actually on vacation. (Although, sometimes I wonder if I am the only one that uses Outlook Office Assistant) Moving right along. . .got a TPW of 7/13 Longer than they initially told me. . .but less than many others. I am not complaining.

You know that's the thing that ticks me off about this whole process. It seems no one is in a big hurry to help you with a car that isn't on the lot !!!!
