It doesn't hurt anything not having the scoop, still works as designed... You can always add the scoop later if you decide to. Typically you will get a better deal if you buy a package deal from places like Auto Agenda, Apex, etc that comes with the intake, scoop, and relocated washer bottle. Saves quite a bit of money than buying everything individually.

I have that piece of junk on my car, Felt ripped off.. I've had nothing but trouble since installing it, I made a bunch of mods to it and got it working better, but will be replaced when I finish other upgrades, hate buying something twice..
