I'm not a fan, still have the same stupid (first) cel phone I got in 07, it works fine. I'm pretty lo-tech as far as cel phones go. I don't use 15 bucks worth of minutes a month!

I miss my low tech cell phones with the extended battery. It was nice to have to not worry about battery life.

The reliability and ruggedness was nice.

I'm not a loyal apple, windws, or OS/2 follower.

Not really. I'm typing this on a MacBook Pro and I have an iPod touch, plus I own Apple stock. It's nice making money off millions of Apple fanatics, but I can honestly say I despise my laptop and my MP3 player is pretty much a brick at this point.

Apple does their absolute best to cater to all generations. The iPhone has become increasingly popular with the older generations. Especially for those over 50+ (due to how easy the iOS software is and how simplistic the iPhone's have been). With smaller changes year by year, it allows people to feel more comfortable upgrading to the next iPhone.

nope, never will. Still have my flip phone from 2007. Battery life is 7-8 days, using it daily. When iPhone can beat that, I will purchase. I need a phone, I work on computers all day, do not want to carry one with me. Don't need that chain on my ankle 24-7.

really when it comes down to it people are going to buy what they like. Me personally I have tried everything HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung you name it and I always keep coming back to Apple. It's the only product that I have always been 100percent happy with my macbook that I am typing this on has lasted me over 5 years and not one single problem. I have never got that out of any other laptop I have ever owned. Honestly I wish it would break so I could buy a new one. I have a 4S it's my second iphone I had a 3GS before this. Only reason why I upgraded well cause I wanted the 4S. Not that I had any issues. Will I stand in line for the 5? No not enough of a upgrade for me but I probably will get a 5S when it comes out in a years time. This debate will always go on just like the import/domestic debate or the Ford/Chev/Dodge debate. This is how I buy my products if I like something I buy it I don't care who makes it or what other people think. I bought a Camaro cause I wanted it. I bought my Tundra cause I wanted it. Same with all my apple products. I think people should do and buy what they want....
