Damn birds !

My wife had her drivers side wiper taken off by an owl, and her sister hit a turkey last year with her new Durango and it did about 3k in damage to the front end, she was doing about 60 at the time ...

It only works on the deer that can read. The rest just cross where ever they want to.

Damn I hate critter scratches.

Little side story, one day I was driving on 290 to Austin. There was several thousand deer kills. Not a hundred or a 1000. It was about 6 miles of driving on hamburger meat. I was freaking out deer where all over the place. The road was red for 2-3 months after.

Never seen anything like it before must of been herd.

I too am the victim of a wild turkey attack. My attack was on my then, still fairly brand new 2000 Monte SS about 7-8 yrs ago. Damn bird got spooked by some co workers and landed on my hood and scratched the crap out of it. It was a shock when the work security guard paged me over the PA system and when i got upfront to him, he tells me a turkey hit my car and scratched it. I feel your pain. I'm sad for a beauty of a car to be scratched so soon, but happy there wasn't further damage.

The all weather cover is the way to go. It's thicker than the indoor covers.

Someone already got one for the new Camaro.

That's the only way I keep cats from scratching my bannana. They ruined my vic red truck paint already. 100's of deep scratches to the base coat.

I creamed a Hawk doing about 120 km/hr. Hit dead center in my windshield. Pretty scary moment, driving back into the city was a challenge, had to stick my head out the window for about 45 mins
