called my serice advisor and tech to get you a part number it just says replace master with gm update master. They didn't charge me 4 it so I doubt it was a lie. Patiently waiting like you are. Because I want your cars right too...

If no part# the service tech or manager may be BS'ing you bro'. Difficult to believe they have a "new" part # and they don't put it on anything, how would anyone know it's the new or old part. Anyway, I'm keeping fingers crossed just like everyone else.

I would think that a receipt for work done, even warranty work, would show parts and such installed. Maybe?

HERE IT IS BOYS AND GIRLS!!!!!

REFERENCE PART #22867098 (CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY **HAS DIFFERENT MASTER CYL THAN PART NUMBERS YOU CAN ORDER THIS IS THE UPDATED MASTER CYLINDER AND ONLY AVAILABLE AS A FULL PEDAL ASSEMBLY AT THIS TIME**)

Have your tech look up a P.I. : PI0486A

THIS IS YOUR FIX BOYS!!!!!!

The reason why this wasnt on my sheet is because it was two separate work orders and the cashier forgot to give me my second work order.

Thanks. I'll be watching info on this as more people install the update. Curious to see how it compares to the IdealG that I have.

it supposedly has a new internal mechanism that prevents a bleed of some sort with the pedal pressed. Not sure exactly the internal structure. But they did say it is an entirely new master cyl mounted in this pedal assembly now.

GM also stated that it will go from a PI to a TSB soon from what they're seeing.

Ok I was just at my dealer... I asked about this and referenced the number above.. they said that they have no info on any new master cyl piece for this PI. I have brought it in in the past for the clutch issue so I tried to be pushy and get them to see if they could order any new parts but they said no, there is no indication of any new parts.
Not saying there isn't just what my dealer told me.
