It's a convertible not coupe that's why that wire is in that location.

I got a black rear spoiler to go on my car for a little different LOOK!
So i think how hard can it be to put it on :( Well I got all the bolts off and the Spoiler comes off nicely and there is this wire, goes into the trunk lid. I think must be for a lighted Spoiler 3rd brake light? I'll never need that so I just snipped it. :( F&*&^K < It's the freaking antena for the damn radio :( GRRRR HENCE SKIPPY will never again pickup a tool and go near my or any car again" EVER". << Now I got to go to the dealers and look like a dumb a** and tell them what I did. :mad0 259:

To the OP.
Glad you got it fixed.
But I don't think I would have told anyone... If nobody saw you do it then it never happened.
Agreed!!!

Don't worry, there are those that have done stupid things and those that will. How else do you learn, lol. We have all done something similar and looked back and thought "What the hell was I thinking?"

So as I went to drain the fluid I notice it was purple and I thought since when did I use royal purple oil. Well folks you probably no we're I'm going with this. Yes I drained the tranny fluid instead. Being that I didn't have a Trans oil pump in hand I had it towed to the stealer ship because no one would touch it after I told them it was a closed transmission so they had no clue. Talk about feeling like a dumb ass. Now I can laugh but it wasn't so funny at the time.
Dude! You too? Ha Ha, now I dont feel like such a dumbas for doing the same thing! My Dumbass Mistake
I however turned my experience into a learning one. I managed to pull the plug that blocks off where the dipstick would go (if it had one) and filled the fluid into that port, I managed to get it to AAMCO the next morning and the mechanic showed me how to put fluid in correctly and make sure the level is right.
All you gotta do is lift the vehicle up and level, leave it running and allow it to get up to normal temperature, then just remove the plug and if nothing is coming out then just squirt/pump fluid until it starts to come out of the plug hole, and there you have it the level is perfect.
