It's funny. When I ordered I said "if this thing takes too long, can I get my money back"? The salesman said "what do you mean?" I was like "well I don't want to wait forever... I better have it by at least July". And he pretty much laughed and said "oh easily before then." And wrote on the thing refundable if not delievered by July.

And here we are... heh. I'm expecting this thing here early next month. Built this week or next. Another couple weeks for delivery. My July guess may be earily on target.

Wow man congrats!

I'm sitting at 1100 myself. I guess I should assume I stay at 1100 until they call my dealer which in turn will call me to verify before they start?

It's not a phone call. Your dealer should know in advance as to when this will happen. They are notified of their allocation each month for cars to be submitted the following month. But yes, your dealer SHOULD call you to verify everything before it's all finalized.

I tried calling GM but they said the ordering department is not in on Saturdays so they wouldnt be able to check it for me and unfortunately my salesman was not working today. Oh well I will check on monday and hope that I am at 3400.

I hope it is a black/black push through....I'm at 3400 as of 6/1 so hopefully when I call tommorow or Tuesday they say my car is built. I got a 2ss/rs btw....

i moved from 1100 back in oct. to 3000 on the 26th to 3300 on the 5th of june. so im hoping for a vin withing the next 2 weeks any hopefully my car by july...
ordered black on black ss ls3 with the sunroof.

This guy went from ORDERED to 3400 in two weeks when it took me a MONTH to go from 2000 to 3400. Ridiculous.

Mine wasnt even built on its TPW while it was one of the first in the forum to have June 1st build date. Bullshit is the only thing that comes out of my mouth

I THINK YOU JUST LUCKED OUT. WHEN YOU ORDERED YOUR DEALER PROBABLY JUST HAD AN OPEN ALLOCATION FOR THE MONTH.
