i got mine from Jessica ... i love it. the whine was Sweet and really quiet but if the front belt was very old i advice to replace it with new one when you upgrade your maggie with cog drive.

this what happen to me when i add cog drive with very old front belt of maggie the belt cut it to half with 270km

Same thing happened on my brothers mustang. He has a Whipple and when the belt broke it dented the hood pretty bad.

Here's mine with the OD Rear Cogs, adding these also added about 3.5 lbs of boost. I love the sounds the car makes, between the Maggie, Cogs, headers, & exhaust, my brand new $3500 sound system stays pretty low so I can enjoy the other sounds. Ever since I installed the cogs, my wife says she can hear the car coming up the street.

I will be using mine as a daily driver, by adding the extra boost with the OD cog, will it hurt my ride alot, or should i just stick with the 1:1

Swap to a larger pulley if you want the OD cogs. You can run a 3.8 with the OD cog and be ok for dd.

When I added the OD Cogs, I also swapped the 3.8 to a 3.6 and it put me at 12 lbs of boost. We just added a custom grind blower cam, ID 850 injectors & the ADM fuel module to my ZL1 pump. I'm picking up the car this week, but I know the cam lowered the boost a little bit. I'll have to see where it's at, but I believe my builder said 11-11.5 lbs. Can still be a DD though, just make sure you always have enough fuel & larger enough injectors. But like SS said, you can always just run the 3.8 pulley with the OD Cog.

What are the torque specs for the bolts? If you got any install instructions would you mind sending them to me if I gave you my email address? I bought mine off a member here on C5 and all I got was the pulleys and belt in the box.
Id be happy to email you the instructions if you dont have them yet...

BTW, life expectancy on a regular duty cog belt is about 25k-30k miles. I know a couple who have lost belts due to improper tension, but no one who has ran the miles up yet...

Can I install a cog drive on the car or do you have to take the charger off? I would assume I have to take the charger off. Does not appear to be much room back there.

Can I get the same size Cog as I have now so it will not change the boost? Looking at the pulleys I would say I have a 1:1 as they both look the same size. Looking to swap and go so I do not have to tune.

I dont think my tuner wants to do it for me as he told me he had to ship the charger back to magnuson so they can install the cog drive.

You can get 1:1 coged gears and the sound great. I did it myself and you don't have to take the blower off. Just need to take your time.

May as well add one more cog drive sound clip. This was on the Maggie set-up.
