~ 36% in favor of it so far. Not a bad percentage actually. Probably higher than I would have guessed from this forum, which has a lot of performance-focused people on it. I think there's a market for it.

Sign me up for the 2015 Berlinetta !

For the person who said it was ridiculous to compare Camaro to Audi or Mercedes - why? Chevrolet themselves have listed Audi interiors as one of the standards to be compared to. Audi makes an outstanding interior. Camaro's doesn't have to be equivalent but it's a worthy standard to be compared to.

No. I like mine and its cloth. I wouldn't mind Mytouch with nav but I'm watching Ofer's thread on that.

Just take that 5-7 k premium and mod your interior to how you'd like.

Personally I'm just glad to be sitting in a Camaro.

no, if I feel the need to make my interior more refined, I can handle it myself, plenty of upholstery shops around that can do it.

why pay extra for something everyone else would have.. be original.. be unique.. be different.

Sorry - but no upholstery shop is going to make the Camaro's interior anything remotely as nice as an Audi A5. Again, I'm not saying that it needs to actually be that nice. And I understand that luxury is not for everyone but I think there's as much a market or more for this as there is for the Z/28 or other limited production edition.

The Camaro does have that feature. Let your battery die and then have someone push you while you pop the clutch. (Manual transmission only)

It amazes me how people want the camaro to be something its not nor was ever intended to be! If you want luxurious interior and every gadget available in the auto industry buy something else! All that crap like digital dual climate control, push buttom start, etc adds weight and complicated computer systems! Its more stuff to fail and cause problems! The camaro has always been the 'blue collar' sport/muscle car! It was made to be simple and powerful! A weekend warrior at the track! The true old school camaro enthusiasts and speed enthusiasts of today want the feeling the guys in the late 60's and 70 had! Affordable power, ability to customize and personalize, pride in being able to work on it without a degree in rocket science, to climb behind the wheel after a long week and for that moment feel like a rockstar! The camaro was made to be DRIVEN, pushed hard and fast! You can't honor the comaro loading it down and making it overwhelmingly over weight and complex just to mope around town and entertain yourself with fancy interior gadgetry! Just my 0.02 cents! Peace love and happy motoring!

This may not be your taste, it's not mine, but I am using it to show you the level of work that can be done if you want it. The guy that did this does vehicles for major sponsors for SEMA, This particular vehicle isn't anyting special, just someone that wanted something different.

Yes, I would. Except I don't think you should even have to pay an additional increase. From base price $24,000 1LS to $60,000 ZL1, there is a huge increase in performance, but barely any difference in the interior. Most other cars have different trim levels for those that want more or less luxury in the interior. The Camaro has the different trim levels, but they make basically no difference in the interior. I would love some better materials instead of constantly scratching cheap plastic. Not everyone wants to rip out the interior and take it to the track.

I bought my Camaro because I wanted a decent size 2 door, and there isn't much else out there. Not to take it to the track. If a nicer interior option would get more Camaros sold, what is the problem with that?

I think there is a certain point where we need to realize that this is a Chevy and not a Caddy. So there's a cut off. Things that are convenience features and general niceties I think are good to add to the car even if only as options. Tech that relates to performance is ok as well.

Things like adaptive cruise control and parking assist, and massage seats and real wood grain in the doors are best left to Caddies. I'm pretty happy with the quality of the current car. I would say if the plastics of certain parts like the tranny tunnel were upgraded a slight bit then it would be perfect. It could always be better but I'd rather spend that money under the hood.

You have your wish - buy a Z/28.

That doesn't negate the wishes of others who love the muscle car styling of the Camaro, love the engines that are available but still long for an up-scale interior.

You can EASILY honor the Camaro and still offer a higher quality interior.

The Corvette was everything you describe above in the 60's. And look at its interior now. It's entered the realm of world-class IMO.

The Camaro team would't have made the numerous improvements they've already made to the interior if they felt it wasn't important. It's light years nicer than Gen 4 and the 2012 is a signficant improvment over what I have in the 2011.

I'm just saying there are people like me who would pay for more (This poll seems to reflect that) and offering it isn't going to somehow dishonor the Camaro heritage.

I have no problem with purists who want the basics in the interior. Nor should the purist have any problem with what people like me would love to see in the Camaro. Yeah - I could buy a different car to get the interior - but then I don't have the exterior I want.
