Procharger will let you upgrade their superchargers for essentially the cost difference between the two models. I am now running the F1C and getting about 13 lbs of boost with Prochargers smallest pulley. You will have to beat the wheel well in a little at the bottom to get the F1C to fit but otherwise it fits fine. The R requires some cutting and the X requires even more cutting. I made 784 at the rear wheels, through an automatic (4L80), with several degrees of timing pulled for my nitrous. So breaking 800 rear wheel is not a problem.

All in all the combination is extremely driveable and I can run it on straight pump gas.
Awesome! Thats exactly what im looking into. Just gonna go with the F1-C from the get-go.

I figure it'll leave me with exponential room to grow, especially once I do the motor.

Another great option is a Ysi kit. Will make 650-700rwhp on low boost and can feed a 427 to make 1000+ later.

I was planning on getting the D1 but it seems pointless to waste money on that when im going to have to upgrade to a F1 anyways in the near future.

This car needs to be a reliable daily driver with that blower until I do the motor. The current motor is a stock ls3 with LT headers w/ cats and a full exhaust system.

I've read that I would need the race bov and like a 5.00 pulley to keep it at 10 psi since its a stock block. Any input and suggestions is greatly appreciated!
So did you ever install an F-1?

Speaking from experience as I run the F2. If u r going to get an lsx 427 in the future anyways, get the f1x as its an incredible blower or even the F2 if u want. As far as figment and cutting go, it is so minimal that u will never even know anything was cut. If u look at my car, u cannot notice that it was cut at all as there is only one very small area to shave for it to fit. Just my .02 as if u go with the bigger x or 2 u will have all the power u could ever desire

ECS offer a nice YSi kit for the Gen5 cars.

I prefer their belt routing and tensioner design vs all the others.
