I'm considering exactly that setup w/o a tune, should still put me up around 30whp.
You need a tune to deal with cel and to get the most out of the system if your worried about a tune voiding your warranty I would think your dealer isn't going to like headers either try to find a mod friendly dealer they do exist

Yeah, I'm not worried but I have this thing called a wife that is. She figures I should keep the 5th gen stock and concentrate on my 69 Cutlass. I figure stock is boring.

I've yet to sit down and discuss this with my dealer, but I figure the honest approach is gonna be the best. If not, I will tear into it at 3 years. Long wait but wth.

Is that CAI metal and attached to the TOP of the radiator? Seems like that would transfer a lot of heat to the air passage. Is it pulling air through the mail slot?

Can we get a closer picture of the radiator hose. It looks like it is pinched a little when you angle the radiator. Have there been any differences in cooling?

thanks,
Crowley

it is aluminum and pulls air from the front of the grille, its colder air than what your stock or any elbow intake pulls in.

Nothing is pinched, no differences in cooling whatsoever, it has been installed on my car for 1500 miles now. There are more pics here:

(just prototype pics, finish production pieces will be a cleaner look and powdercoated)
