So how are they holding up? Also if you had to do all over again would you paint them again or have them powder coated?

Ok. So I decided to paint mine instead of sending them out to be powered coated. I took mine off the car because I done the Brembo upgrade this winter and did not have the lines hooked up yet. My think is everything went well but the VHT yellow is alot different yellow than my Camaro. Now what to do? I have a paint that matches the Camaro but it does not say what temperature it is good for. If I use a regular paint but use the high temperature clear coat do you think that would work?

I'm pulling my calipers today and having them powder coated. I work with an engineer who powder coats on the side and will do all four for $160! Stay tuned. I'll post the results. eBay seems to be the place to by the Brembo decals. They are rated for high temps and seem to work pretty well.

They turned out really good. Just hope the paint holds up versus powder coat.

Will do. Your calipers do look really good. I'm going with the black Brembo decals too. Looks awesome!

For the ones who have painted their own or have had theirs powder coated did you leave the roller skates or stick-on weights on afterwards?

Well even though I cleaned and prepped them real good off the car and let them sit in the house over night to dry before I painted them the next day still no good! I sprayed 3 coats of primer with 3 coats of yellow than cleared them with 3 coats still real easy to scratch or chip off paint. I used all VHT spray paint rated at 900° and they turned out looking really good and smooth. But was taking the tape off after 3 days of drying sitting inside the house because the weather is still cool here and the paint scratched and chipped in several places. I am picky and do not want to have to deal with more coming off during the summer months I have decided to take them apart while they are off the car and have them powder coated. That way i don't have to worry about them having any issues and powder coat stands up and looks good for years.

i know you posted this awhile ago, but i just saw it today. do you think spray-on caliper paints like duplicoat will work fine? and what kind of lacquer did you use? and how easy was it to put on the decal?

For those of you painting calipers, I recommend scuffing the calipers with scotchbrite and priming the calipers before painting. If I'm using rattle can paint, I use Duplicolor wheel clear because it chemical resistant.
