By the way,
Jeremy Formato (my tuner) said he recently tuned the 2010 Camaro SS (L99, A6 -IOM with black or CGM stripes) that's currently featured in GM High Tech magazine "Drag Test -Living up to the hype."
In the next issue of GM High Tech, there's supposed to be write up about the the tuning he did on the car.
So I'm sure they'll mention the stock tuning and the results that can be made with a good tune. I'm not sure if they're also track testing the car after the tune. One of the biggest issues down here is the heat. It's really a terrible time of year to be going to the track. The DA is averaging +2500 ft during the day.

The ECM tune is a Safe tune...its the tranny tune that is making these cars feel like pigs...

But I guess I was one of the lucky ones that made over 320 rwhp stock.

I agree, Jeremy has tuned both my Trans Am and Vette. Both made substantially more power than when they came in the door. He takes as much time as necessary to make sure that the job is done right and that you are happy.

I have to agree with irpq11. The new ECM's GM uses now keeps track of everything and every time the ECM was plugged into and what they did. Hell if you go to Auto Zone or Advance Autos and just have them hook up their computer and do nothing at all, if GM checks they will see that on such and such date they hooked up to your ECM.

I added a picture of my dyno sheet. I couldn't pull the file off my jump drive so I did the best I can by taking a picture of my dyno sheet. Hopefully you can read it. I cut off the bottom part where the a/f ratio chart was because it wasn'r readable with dyno condition information printed across it?

I been around the IT field long enough to know. No matter how complicated the defenses are on GM's side on thier PCM's, someone will find the hole and cover thier tracks...

If I was in the L99 boat and seeing all the crap that Irq /rrepka/scott have been going thru, I would give it a shot..

Yeah I am leary about undetectable tunes myself. I saw their post on another forum and asked them about the validity of the undetectable tune and what they would do if it was detected. No answer currently.

I pm'ed rick@livernois and asked a couple questions. He said all the undetectable tunes done on g8's have not been noticed when taken in for work at gm.

I've noticed from the start, even with the test fleet cars, they all puffed black smoke (too rich). Do you think maybe they anticipated owners opening intake and exhaust up a bit?
