Lakers171,
Check out CamaroPete, he's a member here and has a prototype mount that does not require drilling...it uses polyrubber grommets that fits into the gaps of the lower grill. Tighten the mounting bolts and the grommets expand and hold the mount in place. I ordered one, should have it in a couple of weeks. The guy that builds them is in Canada. CamaroPete can give you the email to cantact him. His name is Doug. Hope you find something that works for you.

Use the double stick tape and get the ticket signed off....remove....then put your front plate in a plastic sleave and next time put it on your dash when you get pulled over.

I live in NorCal and I have never had front plate on any car nor any tickets for it.

Same here. The cops are pretty lenient about the front plates in NorthCal, or at least that is how my experience has been.

What kills me is how many people I see driving around with NO plates at all. I swear at least 4-5 times a day I see an SL or some such car with no front plate and no rear plate. No temp plate, nothing. What is that about?

Yeah, we did some prototyping of a design and it is now finalized. Below are a few pictures and some information.

"In a few days I will be adding the A004 Design - 2010 Camaro SS V8 brackets to my web page ****************

Actual assemblies will be available to ship in 2 weeks.

The price will be the same as the Mustang brackets at $100.00 CAD. This cost includes shipping by Fed/Ex ground."

The first picture is the final bracket and the others are test fittings of the prototype. Doug (whom you can contact about ordering the bracket) is really great to deal with. The quality on the bracket is great and I am excited about getting it installed. The design stems from one they make for Mustangs and they have been around for some time. I will have pictures of the final install on my car next week sometime.

Attached is the template I made and used. Total material was around $25.00. For bushings in the grill, I used 4 rollers from an old printer that feeds the paper, they were the perfect diameter and length. I went to Lowes and purchased stainless hardware and diamond plate for the frame. For the backing, I cut a plate from the diamond plate and drilled 4 holes for the bolts. Pretty easy to make and you can save yourself some money. The holes on the template are not the exact location, I held mine to my grill and marked them befor drilling the holes.

Does the sto n go fit the Camaro without drilling? My concern would be it flapping the the wind @65 and damaging the bumper. I guess you could use weather stripping on the back.

I had to drill 2 1/8" holes and Also one 1/4" hole for wire.
The 1/4" hole was by choice.
The plate goes up and down. But not as positivly as I would like.
But I can put it down at shows & Photo Shoot's.
The one Pic shows where I mounted the reciver.
