Agrees with this statement. thats why I'm changing careers as we speak (drafting ,design from real estate.). In these times you can either
1) stay broke by working rinky dink jobs or
2)Adapt get a education in or around a field that no matter what will always need workers.
And getting a Masters in nose hair trimming is just asking to be homeless.
In short stop getting degrees in extreamly pointless/simple fields just to have a "masters" ,while wondering "why am I unemployed??

Something else to think about is not all accessible colleges will have the degree field that you REALLY want. I would have loved to be in automotive design, but didn't have the means or resources to fly to another city to do that.

So sometimes...you just have to deal with the cards that life dealt you and make the most of it you can.

All I gotta say to all the youngsters is make sure you strap up because you all are the age I was when I became a father. And wasn't planned. So after you get this car you be beating the women off with a stick cause this car is hot!!! But I'm just saying if I had purchased this car then and had my daughter I would've had to have got rid of my car because a kid is very expensive. I'm not trying to sound likeyour parents because I'm not I'm only 31 my self just want everyone to make sure all there priorities are in the right spot but to all of you that do congrats and you will be very happy with these cars because they are awesome machines!

24 and still saving. I'm not jumping on the debt wagon until I am 100% positive that I'm going to be able to make the payments.

But, I've decided there are more important things that will be coming up sooner or later that I will need to buy. I've began thinking it's best for me to just start saving up all the money for this car and apply it to something bigger and better, and a little bit more worth it(such as a house one day).
I'm not in my 20's, but I went through that exact same thing earlier this year. Right now is the best time to buy a house that I've ever seen. House prices, mortgage rates, and tax breaks are all amazing.

I completely agree! I at least want to put down 20-30K down before I buy. I am turning 21 in November and I "plan" on ordering next July. Im saving like crazy aand thats the plan but if stuff happens I wont order until I know 100% that I know I can afford the payments.

im 25 and my IBM/2SS was delivered in june (has since been totaled and another is on the way, but anywho...). i've been saving for this car since 06 when the concept came out. they stopped making them in 02 when i graduated high school and i knew they would bring them back in time for me to graduate college and get a good paying job. went to one of the best universities in the country, UF...GO GATORS!...and graduated in 06. my job keeps me traveling 5 days a week in a company car with a company credit card so this car is my only real expense. my first drawings when i was little were of camaros and im so happy to be where i am right now and able to have this car!!!

i'm 16, i'm trying to land a new job that pays 15-25 an hour. In a perfect world i would wait til i had the 36k that is msrp but i think if i get to 26 i will take another 2k out of savings then order the car. Also when i'm in college i'm hoping to get a summer job in the engineers union which supposedly pays dam well so i think that i can get the car without creating bad credit, etc
